UTAH DRUMLINE
The Utah Drumline is open to all university students regardless of degree / major. You do not have to be a music major to participate in the marching band or earn a scholarship. Members come from across all degree programs at the university including engineers, biology, math, business, pre-law and pre-med. You DO NOT have to be a full-time student at the University of Utah to JOIN the Utah Drumline. Students attending other Colleges and Universities (Salt Lake Community College, etc.) CAN and DO participate in the Utah Drumline. Join Utah Drumline through Continuing Education.
The Utah Drumline combines a performance based and entertaining environment and features a modern performing and arranging style. Participation in the drumline offers students the opportunity to advance their musical skills while engaging in a cohesive team dynamic that emphasizes a high standard of excellence. The Utah Drumline is focused on the development of tomorrow’s leaders through hands-on interactive learning and achievement in the pursuit of excellence.
